This limited edition 12 year old whisky was matured in 100% bourbons casks before bottling at a bold 55.5% abv. A great rich, powerful whisky highlighting Springbank's signature style of being balanced and intensely flavourful.
Aromas of fruit salad candy, dried mango and hints of dark chocolate are complemented by notes of smoked cayenne pepper, chillies, toffee and charred steak on the palate. Gentle peat smoke emerges in the finish along with notes of pink grapefruit, cocoa powder and salted pretzels.
